Visiting G-ma Merrill

 

Back in May we went to go visit grandma at her house. Another time, we went with grandma over to Ava’s workplace for dinner. The funny thing that happened then was that Ava told us we could come to Edna’s on one condition, that we don’t return any food ordered by grandma.  Well, we didn’t relay that request to grandma and sure enough, she ordered meatloaf but said it was undercooked and needed a new order. Ava was kinda embarrassed, but we had a good laugh

Little Mercedes

Nichole and I were able to help Chani and Ethan move into their new house a few weeks ago. We’ve been to their new place a couple times now. For Mercedes’s baby blessing, helping them move in and another Sunday to just visit for a little bit. I was able to hold my precious little granddaughter. Isn’t she just beautiful 😍 Nichole was out of town in California on a sister’s trip during the week of Mercedes’s blessing which they had planned for a while. So, Grandma was missed for the blessing

6th grade for Eli

 

My youngest is already in 6th grade. I feel Eli and I have been bonding more as of late.  We’ve been swimming together both at the Legacy Center and the American Fork Fitness center doing laps together and just hanging out in the pool. We’ve been riding bikes together and playing basketball. He even lets me get him to sleep occasionally where I get to massage him. I’m hopeful for a successful school year. I pray he will have the mental fortitude to stay strong and engaged and that he will be able to persevere 

10th grade

 

Ava is starting her Lehi HS 3-year career! I pray she will do well and enjoy the moment. Time goes by so fast. I love my one and only daughter with all my heart 

Mercedes gets blessed

Nichole was in CA on a sister’s trip that they had planned a while ago. So, she was bummed to miss out on the family get together and baby blessing. I took some notes on my phone of what Ethan blessed her with. It was hard for me to not be a part of the prayer circle with Ethan. On Saturday, I went to his dealership and we had an hour long talk as to why I can’t participate anymore. It was a hard conversation to have.
