January 25th, Don and I did the Sun marathon together. This was also the first time awesome Melissa came with me outside of salt lake area. We stayed at the Courtyard Marriott together after arriving late on Friday cuz we couldn’t leave work early. We had a great time talking the whole time while driving. The sweet thing was we were able to go for lunch together after the marathon and go on a slow hike together after the marathon as well. She had a cool trail to go on from a trail she knew from her visits before with the doctor. I love spending time with her. Don and I did pretty good on the marathon. We sure like doing these things together. It’s been 2.5 years I think since last paid marathon event. So, it was good to get back out on a course. We both qualified for Boston. Don won and got 3 hours 12 minutes and I got 3rd at 3 hours 23 minutes. Not bad for not having done one in forever. Don’s done a lot more running this past year. I’ve been kinda normal at best.
