Wow, #43!

I remember feeling in my 30's that I did not want to have birthdays because I didn't want to feel like I was getting older.  It doesn't bother me anymore though.  The way you feel doesn't have anything to do with the # in front of your age rather the way you feel.  Well, I don't mind getting older now though anyways.  I've felt my joints and my back not what they used to be, but that's just a part of getting a little older

Well, for birthday #43, Nichole rented a room at the Marriott Hotel in Salt Lake for Friday night and into Saturday.  We brought our kids and met up with Don and Jill and their kids.  Once there, we went ice skating, saw the Christmas lights on Temple Square and went out to dinner at Hire's Big H all on Friday night.  Then, Saturday morning we went swimming there in the hotel and also went to the Grand America Hotel to see all the Christmas lights on display including a Gingerbread House there in the hotel itself.  It was a super fun night and day.  Ava stayed up all night with Whitney and Regan and did not get any sleep whatsoever.  Even little Eli was able to stay up until midnight.  He was not going to be left out of the fun.  Needless to say, as soon as we start driving home, they were out cold

When I first got home from work, I had to get some painting done.  You know me, I can never rest.  I always have to be busy

Little Eli wanted to help me blow out the birthday candles.
