Today, while driving home from Park City, I couldn't help but just drive through the canyon and just be in awe of everything our Heavenly Father has made for us. I know this picture doesn't do nature justice, because I took it with my phone, but just the thought of enjoying God's creations was pretty humbling. I don't know why, but everything just seemed beautiful today, so I had to pull over and just relaxe for a little bit down by the Provo river. Work was a little stressful today, so it was nice to just clear the mind and think of how blessed I am as a son of a father who loves me, and also to think of everything he's blessed me and my family with. The best things in life are those without a price tag
So, tonight I had to go to one of my monthly church meetings, the roundtable. Being in the bishopric, I don't get to personally interact as much like before when I was the scoutmaster and 11 year old leader. Those were fun days. Not that I mind, but it just seems like I go to meetings all the time now and seem to miss out on the "fun" things. Luckily, roundtable got over early enough where I was able to go hook up with some of the young men in the ward. Good times!

so true and yet we forget all too often about how many of those blessings we have been given! i'm glad you were able to relax and enjoy the beauty of the canyon today!
