Nichole loves roses. In fact, we still have the very first rose I gave her. It was a single short stem red rose. We dried it upside down to preserve the pedals and put it in one of our original albums. It's one of the keepsakes that will forever be cherished. Over the time we've been able to spend together, I've learned that she prefers the other colors better like these ones
A fancy meal on a budget. Chicken cour don bleu (I think that's how it's spelt) was on the menu. At least it sounds french.
Everyone got their chocolates. Ehan could care less. he's getting a little old for sharing this day with the family. Who knows, maybe he'll have his own valentine next year.
Ava just had to be part of the picture. She wasn't going to be left out. My little Nicki is probably about 7 months pregnant here with Eli. The previous 2 years, Nichole and I were able to go to Cabo San Lucas, but not this year with the baby expense. Wow, life is full of tough choices...baby or Cabo? hmm.
