So, the Reidhead's are Nichole's mom's side of the family. Lucinda's maiden name is Reidhead. Grandma Lucinda's family was supposed to all be there. However, this was one of those weekends that was priceless to be with the family. Some crazy things that occurred:
- reunion with Nichole's cousins...no Reidhead cousins showed up that Nichole knows
- we show up for the reunion...don't know where it is, so we are late
- Grandma Merrill says "we all need to be in Sunday dress"...everyone there were in summer clothes...grr!
- hotel room...not the idea of large, roomy, nice or comfortable. Hence, no sleep.
- "let's go to church Sunday with the cousins"...poor little Ashlyn throws up all night on Saturday, so we end up not going to church
- "let's visit Bryce Canyon"...we make a short trip on Saturday through the park but are rushed because we have to get to the reunion. We think we can go there after church on Sunday, but because of illness, we don't return
- not much seemed to go as planned on this trip, but the time with the family...priceless. Even with things not going as planned, it was good to be there together. Although, in hind sight, I think we all mentioned we could have spent the time together as a family back home. But, we did get some good pictures and had some good cousin time. We missed Ethan on this trip as he could not get off from work
