I cannot believe Ava is 16! We got Ava a car, the same as we’ve done for all the kids when they turn 16. She named her car Winston. It’s funny that we tend to give the meaningful vehicles names. I hope I can be a good dad for her these last couple years I have with her at the house before she seems to think she is going to move out and be on her own and independent. I need and want to be here for her. I love my special daughter. I always wish we could open up and talk more. I’m not a good communicator. I love to just talk, but she doesn’t open up much with me. It’s my own fault for not engaging well with communication. It was fun to get together at Texas Roadhouse to celebrate her birthday
