Family time

Big brother and little sister just hangin out together, which they love to do.  Aren't they cute!  Ava got her new little purse and wanted to show it off.  The funny thing is she ruined it the first day.  She soaked it in water and the water won.  Good thing she only spent $2 on it. 

Jake took a picture of daddy and his little girl.  I think he's going to be a photographer some day or some type of artist.  He's very creative and artistic.  He creates anything.  Maybe he'll be like his dad who loves to create things.  He loves to write and draw.  I think he's started about 10 journals and lately he's been doing his own blog.  His posts are so cute.  It's fun to read his perspectives and outlooks on life's events

One of these days, Ava will start to ride a bike without training wheels.  But, for now, she'll keep riding whatever she can.  In this case, it's grandma and grandpa Merrill's trike

Is a hammock relaxing or a workout?  After trying to relax a little bit myself, these kids just took over and it soon turned into a workout.  They beat me up and then took over.  Those crazy monkeys!

Here's Tess, grandma and grandpa Merrill's latest dog.  And, this is the dog they got after they vowed to never have another.  Funny how that works.  That vow, I swear, didn't last longer than a year.  Lucinda is such a softie when it comes to dogs.  Our dog, Lacy and Tess were best friends until the day Lacy took Tess down and punctured her kneck.  That is what was so weird with our dog, Lacy.  She was the sweetest dog 99% of the time and then it was just that 1% of pure fiery indignation that you don't know where that aggression would come from.  That was the last straw for Lacy.  After that incident with Tess is when we had to put Lacy, down.
