Mother's Day

We went over to grandma and grandpa Ralph's house on Saturday to visit for Mother's Day.  The funny thing was that there was no grandma.  She had already left to go to Deanna's house in Washington.  I guess we didn't plan that one so well.  David was in town from Hawaii, though.  We still had a good bbq

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Ethan just had to get a picture of his dad cooking.  He mocked me saying he had to get a picture of such a rare event.  Seriously, where's the love?!  Brad, Jake and Ava helped me make cinnamon french toast, bacon, scrambled eggs and orange slices.  We were going to carry the food up to mom in bed, but then they wanted to bring her down to show her the presents and flowers they had gotten her

These 3 were excited to get mama out of bed and bring her down.  When they were eating the breakfast, they said, "wow, this is so good.  it tastes like IHOP."  It always tastes better when you feel you had a hand in making the meal.  It did taste good...great chefs!
