In all of our years of marriage, I have never been able to finish my own bedroom. I've done countless home improvement projects, but it seems like the bedroom always was the last thing to ever get anything. It's kind of like if I ever need something, the needs of the family always came first. And, that is totally fine and the way it should be. But, it was nice to finally be able to do something for my bedroom. New flooring will be next, but at least I got the hard and slow part done. I finished the painting as well this past week. One major project down and now onto the next.

On the first day, Mr. Eli turned into my big helper. I thought it was pretty cute how he wanted to be just like his papa noodle with the work gloves and especially the pencil in the hat. He thought he was pretty big. He loved marking the stones where they needed cutting. Such a cute boy😎
This was a slow and dirty job. So glad it's over!!
