Ethan turns 22

Ethan turned 22 this past September 11th.  Ethan started his college experience this semester at the LDS Business School in Salt Lake, working part time with Artistic Stone and dating Channi.  Yep, you heard me correctly.  He has been dating Channi.  He seems to be really happy!  I am happy for him.  I have a feeling that this may be the one he would like to "move forward with".  One day recently at work, he and I went to the Wendy's in Holladay for lunch.  We had a simple lunch but a wonderful short conversation.  I asked him how he felt about this new girl he has been dating.  He told me that he is opening up to her and letting her know who he truly is.  He told me the successes of this girl.  Channi has already graduated from college, wants to write a book or become an author, has her own business and following on social media.  He told me the name of her business and that she has a lot of followers on social media with her modeling and that she was pretty successful financially.  He even told me that she was probably pretty close to earning triple digits and has a couple cars.  I don't recall the type of cars he said.  What struck me was that she was willing to give her nicer car to someone in her family to assure they could be better off.  She took the not-so-reliable car for herself.  So, basically what he was saying is that not only was she beautiful on the outside, but that she was just as shining and beautiful on the inside.  Channi was like Ethan's mama!  I was happy for him but then started laughing to myself.  He said, "what, dad?"  I said, "well, son, as long as you don't feel like a failure, or that you are inferior to her".  He chuckled and said, "I know.  If this relationship progresses, which I think it will, she at least knows all the good and the bad.  She knows what she's getting herself into.  I mean, I even toot in front of her".  We chuckled.  What a boy!
