Our stake honors the restoration of the priesthood by holding an annual Father's and Son's campout every May. I went camping with Jake, Brad and Eli. Eli invited his friend and neighbor, Charlie Byrne. Charlie's dad, Derek, was out of town working this weekend. Jake and Brad don't really like camping, but I talked them into staying the night this time since their little brother was so excited. Typically, they like to just have the late night activity but go home to sleep comfortably in their own beds. We went to Utah Lake on the west side just south of Saratoga Springs. While camping, the 3 of us found this remote tower. Behind the picture here of Charlie and Eli lies a lot of sage brush that is kind of like wet marsh land. I told Eli and Charlie to be careful where they walked. Eli was good, but Charlie got his foot caught in a wet marshy spot and his whole shoe came off. He had cold, wet shoes the rest of the night and into the next morning. His mom came and picked him up in the morning
